- Dr. Robert Bohannon is the founder of Environostics, Inc. Dr. Bohannon has been making rapid
diagnostic tests using lateral flow, PCR, EIA and other platforms for over
15 years. He has developed tests
for detecting biowarfare agents for industry and DoD; he also developed
the OraQuick HIV saliva test for Epitope (now OraSure Technologies) and
developed drug of abuse tests (Sure Screen) for MedTox Diagnostics. Dr. Bohannon holds patents on lateral
flow platforms (pending and issued), PCR technologies, molecular-antibody
hydrid detections methods, drug of abuse vaccines and other patents
pending. Dr. Bohannon also developed
the cold gold methodology and colloidal catalyst platforms.
